Chocolate Island
Chocolate is a small island located between Cebu and Malapascua. The depth of the dive site is in shallow condition and perfect ambiance for macro photographers. The corals growth here is very healthy and creates the home for large verity of aquatic life such as snakes, moray eels, seas snakes, seamoths, dragonfish and flamboyant cuttlefish. Chocolate Island is suitable to all levels of diver.
Bounty Beach
Bounty Beach is the part of Malapascua where most resorts are located. The waters at the white beach are shallow and you need to swim or walk out to explore the underwater world. Bounty beach is great for novice diver or course dives, but also photographers like this dive spot to explore some great macro-stuff just by walking into the water. Due to its location you should always dive there with a dive-flag and surface with a marker-buoy a there is quite some boat-traffic at Bounty Beach
Nunez Shoal
Nunez Shoal has probably one of the best visibilities around Malapascua. It is a great dive along a wall which drops off into endless blue. The visibility reaches many times 30+ meters. You will find rare nudibranches as well as a variety moray eel scorpion fish and millions of colorful reef fish. Do not forget to look into the blue water. Nunez shoal is also well known for pelagic like different sharks and eagle rays.
